Senior Pricing Analyst

Job Summary: The Rackspace Finance Pricing Team has a pivotal role in developing Global Pricing Strategy, performing analysis of the associated financial metrics and working closely with the wider business to understand market trends as well as internal needs. Within this team, a Pricing Analyst will be a major contributor to developing the tools and resources to define and implement the Global Pricing Strategy for INTL. Daily tasks include analyzing and identifying key financial information and trends to advise, drive and influence key commercial decisions. Work Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance to sales and support organizations with regards to the best commercial approach for strategically significant accounts.
• Work with product manager from end-to-end to develop financial models for new product unit economics as well as custom client-specific commercials.
• Work with US and APAC Finance teams to ensure a global pricing strategy is defined and implemented consistently throughout geographies.
• Help drive profitability through the provision of quality management information and commercial advice.
• Drive and support continuous pricing process and tool refinement and improvement by applying a solid understanding of internal business processes and policies.
• Assist the Pricing Team Manager with providing coverage of support to a team of junior pricing analysts.  
• Understand complex business issues and make appropriate recommendations by applying subject matter expertise and analyzing multiple solution offering, and work with Legal on custom commercial terms.
• Maintain and develop pricing tools and product unit economics.
• Ensure that business leaders are taking healthy financial decisions and that the company’s overall financial targets are achieved.
• Evaluate profitability and margins for customers through objective and data-driven analysis.
• Improve tools enhancing the understanding of financial performance by the business. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Business Administration/Finance/Economics is required.  Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience  
• Advanced Excel skills, and experience with data analytics on GCP

This information applies only to individuals working in these states.  •The anticipated starting pay range for Colorado is: $105,100 - $154,110.•The anticipated starting pay range for the states of Hawaii and New York (not including NYC) is: $111,800 - $164,010. •The anticipated starting pay range for California, New York City and Washington is: $122,500 - $179,630.  Unless already included in the posted pay range and based on eligibility, the role may include variable compensation in the form of bonus, commissions, or other discretionary payments. These discretionary payments are based on company and/or individual performance and may change at any time.
