Are you looking to make a big impact, partner with great people and take your career to the next level?Our Financial Planning & Analysis team (FP&A) is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who forecasts employee headcount and employment expenses to support Atlassian's ambition of growing to 25,000 employees. You will work lead forecasting (annually, quarterly, monthly) of headcount, partnering with the talent acquisition and people teams to develop hiring and attrition assumptions and report on budget vs actuals on a monthly basis.
In this role, you'll get to:
- Support development of financial models in Anaplan to forecast (annually, quarterly, and monthly) headcount and employment expenses
- Partner with talent acquisition and people teams to develop hiring and attrition assumptions
- Maintain integrity of data in Workday, pull Workday data into Anaplan and reconcile data sources
- Report out on budgets vs actuals and identify strategic insights that inform executive decisions
- Analyse our financial data and share strategic insights to improve performance or identify red flags
- Assess and reflect current quarter performance through the monthly outlook process and work with Corporate FP&A to provide commentary for senior leadership
- Work with Data and Analytics and Talent Acquisition teams to identify, flag and rectify any data inconsistencies in our systems
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
- Analytical and able to make sense of data across multiple systems
- Are proactive, curious and comfortable to take on new challenges
- Have considerable experience in finance processes and headcount forecasting expertise
- High-growth tech experience
- Proficiency using Excel, Anaplan
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Accounting, Economics)
