About the Job:

As a Cybersecurity consultant, you will be acting as a Project Manager on cybersecurity consulting engagements for clients in multiple industries. You will have the opportunity to work on client site to deliver large-scale initiatives, as well as expand your cybersecurity knowledge.

What You’ll Get to Do:

• Lead high visibility projects to increase client’s cybersecurity posture
• Assist with the design and development of security policies, standards and procedures across various domains (e.g., Identity & Access Management, Security Logging & Monitoring, Data Loss Prevention, Encryption, etc.)
• Collaborate with the team to conduct structured data gathering, research, and analysis while evaluating controls to provide relevant recommendations for enhancing current operations
• Prepare, facilitate, document, and actively participate in client meetings and workshops
• Create high quality presentations and reports to effectively communicate project findings
• Participate in the development of Whitepapers / Points of View (PoV) and other technical eminence materials
• Participate in the development of new market opportunities that will expand our business, the Capco brand, and our global reach

What You’ll Bring with You:

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, consulting, and/or project management
• 2+ years progressive project management experience, managing several projects concurrently. Experience in Agile delivery is a plus
• Strong Project Management skills following PMO processes (Project plan, RAID, resource planning, monthly finance projections, change requests, etc.)
• Credentials in cybersecurity, and/or project management are a plus
• Ability to pick up in-flight projects and drive to completion
• Experience working for a management consulting firm is a plus
• Experience working across different industries in a plus (Financial Services, Manufacturing, Energy, etc.)
• Ability to be an effective communicator and manage expectations with stakeholders of various seniority
• Working knowledge of one or more industry frameworks / standards (e.g., NIST CSF, FFIEC CAT, FSSCC Cyber Profiles, MITRE Frameworks, ISO 27k) and cybersecurity and data privacy laws/regulations (e.g., NYSDFS 500, CCPA, GDPR)
• An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently, work well in cross-functional teams
