Our multicloud solutions expertise means you’re empowered to work faster, smarter, and ahead of what’s next.  Process Architect Overview: You’ll be a key element within the Rackspace Government Services team working with the state of Texas.  This team is Accountable for the design and development of the most efficient operational process methods, parameters, and procedures, as well as data strategies in support of process improvement.     Work Location: 100% remotely from the 48 Continental United States.

Responsibilities:

    • Own complex automations that allow the customer support to realize increased efficiencies in cloud operations.
    • Direct, define, and document the processes, tools, and automation for developed solutions. 
    • Drive change and influence other areas to achieve program goals and success.  
    • Proposes and implements system enhancements that will improve the capabilities, performance, and reliability of the automations.  
    • Coordinate the order and execution of the development, upgrading, monitoring, testing and servicing of automations.  
    • Manage dependencies for feature areas across complex solutions.  
    • Act as sponsor and champion of development work required by other areas of the business, holding these teams accountable for delivering key pieces of tooling and automation.
    • Design and develop improvements to current operational processes to ensure they are consistent, compatible, and effective across functions and groups. 
    • Define specifications and data models for product development and testing. 
    • Monitor results of process changes through data mining and analysis. 
    • Responsible for the design of the user interfaces to create a better user experience. 
    • Consider preexisting human/automated processes while directing process implementation strategies. 
    • Track and frequently audit the processes, procedures, and SLAs/OLAs to ensure operational success. 
    • Assess available technologies and system architecture, recommending solutions to support business processing needs. 
    • Analyze business problems/needs and designs application/process-based solutions. 
    • Maintain thorough understanding of product catalog and business structure, as well as the various business processes.  

Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of related experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study such as computer science is required.  However, at the Manager’s discretion additional experience may substitute for the degree.
    • Advanced knowledge of business processes, procedures and operations to manage processes and create requirements for product development. 
    • Advanced knowledge of business, product line, infrastructure and support application tools and how they interface with each other. 
    • Advanced process management and technical business analysis skills. 
    • Advanced knowledge pertaining to the implementation, analysis, and execution of corporate process improvement initiatives and applications. 
    • Thorough understanding of relational database structure/tools, API’s, XML and JSON. 
    • Must be able to interact and communicate ideas with all executive and management levels.  

Government Investigation/Background Check:

    • US Citizenship
    • Ability to pass a Government Investigation/Background Check conducted by the State of Texas
Pay:For applicants working in California, Colorado, Washington, or New York City, we are excited to share the base salary ranges for this position exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonus.  The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.·       The anticipated starting pay range of California, Washington state and New York City applicants for this role is $135,300-$198,440.·       The anticipated starting pay range of Colorado applicants for this role is $116,100-$170,280.Unless already included in the posted pay range and based on eligibility, the role may include variable compensation in the form of bonus commissions, or other discretionary payments.  The discretionary payments are based on company and/or individual performance and may change at any time.  Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.Benefits: https://rackspace.jobs/benefits/About Rackspace TechnologyWe are the multicloud solutions experts.
