If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our Vehicle Infotainment team.  This position requires an experienced professional with an accomplished background in software development and Linux/QNX.  Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

• Design, implement and deliver software components and infrastructure for in-vehicle Over-The-Air (OTA) update system
• Work with infotainment and telematics software engineers and BSP/kernel team to produce a resilient OTA system
• Ensure quality through design and code reviews; your own and others
• Develop validation tests to ensure the robustness of the design
• Collaborate cross-functionality with other teams to set, manage and meet stakeholder expectations
• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues based on testing, and user experience

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of industry experience in Software development or engineering support
• 2+ years of industry experience in Linux, QNX, or Android development
• Knowledge of networking/system level and system debugging
• Good understanding of SDLC management
• Proficiency in C, C++, Rust, and/or Go programing languages
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages
• Knowledge of performance optimization tools and methods
• Experience in analysis and debug of software systems

Education:

• Bachelor or Masters in the areas of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields preferred
