Middle/Senior QA Engineer (Hosting Integrations)

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our cross-functional team. This team is working closely with strategic Service Provider partners (like GoDaddy) and Enterprise customers (like BMW, Bosch, Siemens and others) to analyze their needs and then design and implement solutions that extend our core Acronis Cyber Protect product and Acronis Cyber Cloud platform.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Understand and analyze product requirements and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical peers.
• Design, implement and execute test procedures on system and integration levels.
• Design, deploy, install, provision, troubleshoot, and maintain internal infrastructure used for testing.
• Report and process defects and maintain test reports.
• Take active participation in planning and automation of own designed test procedures.
• Analyze customers’ issues and investigate their root causes and participate in technical discussions with RnD teams.

WHAT YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• Experience with writing scripts preferably with Python/C#/ or any other coding language.
• 2+ years in QA
• Good knowledge of Quality Assurance theory: SDLCs, principles, methodologies and techniques.
• HTTP / Web services/ REST API testing – good understanding and practical experience.
• Proficiency in both Linux and Windows operating systems with knowledge in installing, configuring and troubleshooting such.
• Familiarity with network stack and troubleshooting of network related issues.
• Familiar with Virtualization systems (Virtuozzo, ESX, Hyper-V).
• Good organization skill. Ability to organize own tasks based on given priorities, identify risks and provide estimates.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT related field, or equivalent experience.
• High level of English both written and spoken.

WOULD BE A PLUS:

• programming knowladge preferably with Python/C#/ or any other coding language.
