The Marketing Operations & Technology Manager will lead and drive the Marketing Technology strategy, evaluating current processes to define the technologic stack needed to support current operations. Work with marketing leaders and marketers to develop process and technology requirements in accordance with industry best practices and marketing technology landscape and vendor capabilities. Partner across Marketing Operations team develop data flows and platform integration requirements to enable best-in-class execution and improve data attribution to maximize ROI and marketing performance/business insights. Works with selected/implemented vendors to develop onboarding plans and successfully implement new technology and processes with marketers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and forecast the technology roadmap needed to enable marketing programs execution
- Continuous monitoring of leading edge technologies available in the market
- Drive specification and serve as the marketing expert so support the System & Tool team
- Provide guidance and directions to BI analysts to perform studies on customer behavior that are needed to design marketing programs
- Work across marketing technology ecosystem inclusive of technologies such as CRM, marketing automation, predictive analytics, 3rd party data providers, data orchestration and management solutions, webinar and event platforms, etc.
- Work with leaders to develop marketing technology strategy and roadmap, clearly communicating incremental capabilities business benefits that tie back to Marketing Operations and organizational KPIs
- Aggregate and synthesize global marketing reporting, process and technology capabilities and gaps to improve performance Liaise with Sales Operations and internal IT to ensure Martech roadmap is supported by key business stakeholders
- Partner with procurement/sourcing and finance to select best-fit vendors and secure optimal pricing for Rackspace to drive the greatest ROI
- Ongoing audit of tools and capabilities including sunsetting technology that isn't driving anticipated ROI
- Own the contact/prospect and customer targeting, gate keeping requests to prevent customers and prospects to be overwhelmed with multiple touch points from different organizations
- Enable the company to implement a Customer-Centric marketing approach (tied to the customer journey) and aligned to the industry benchmark on Connected-CRM and Modern Marketing
- Collect, deploy, analyze and make interpretation of available customer information to allow the business (Sales & Marketing), to retain, develop and expand customer base
Knowledge:
- Previous experience with Marketing (Programs, Campaigns or Online) and leadership/management positions
- Strong knowledge of data sets and analytical data insights, Marketing Technology & Systems
- Expertise with CRM, Marketing Automation, Database software packages
- Expert on Microsoft Excel
- Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding presentation skills
- Ability to apply knowledge and best practices to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways
- Advanced C-Level communication
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology, or related field required. MBA or Master in Marketing/Technology is desired. High school diploma or equivalent required
- Requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience in marketing data analysis, campaigns, operations, automation and/or other related functions

The anticipated starting pay range of Colorado applicants for this role is $114,000 - $134,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
