The Lead Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a thought leader who aligns HR strategies with business objectives. This role will report directly to the VP HR Public Cloud. The Lead HRBP is skilled in building effective partnerships with all levels of employees and has a demonstrated history of implementing successful initiatives that contribute to business outcomes.  The HRBP advises leadership in the development of solutions through organizational development, cultural and process-oriented perspectives. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, communication, analysis and problem solving. Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Collaboration: builds trusted relationships with leadership to understand their priorities and provide support in delivering business goalsPartnership: closely with HR Center of Excellence and Business Partner teams to generate new ideas, support program development and implementation, and promote HR initiatives to the organization. Leadership and Bench: Identify key leadership needs and look at ways to develop/hire strong leaders, ensuring bench strength for critical roles. Develop and strengthen the middle management team by equipping them with the right skills to succeed. Key Responsibilities

    • Effective and persuasive presentations appropriate for all audiences up to Sr. Vice President and ELT level.
    • Effective on-boarding of senior level leaders.
    • Drives the various HR operating mechanisms and initiatives within their assigned Business Unit.
    • Typical operating mechanisms include: RackerPulse Engagement survey and follow-up actions, Org and Talent review, and Job and Pay reviews.
    • May serve as program/project lead for initiatives across their assigned Business Unit.
    • Creates and builds HR strategic action plans based on business needs.
    • Improves performance by leaders due to coaching by the HRBP.
    • Successful execution of HR driven operating mechanisms such as focal salary review, Q12 action planning, and organization and talent review.
    • Discusses and drives workforce plans, strategic hires, talent mobility, organization and job designs.
    • Works on leadership assessments, development plans and any needed communication plans.
    • Partners with Racker Rewards to develop Total Rewards strategy for particular business unit (if requested).
    • Risk analysis and risk mitigation plans.
    • Resolution of the most complex employee relations issues.
    • Effective and persuasive presentations appropriate for project teams and business leaders, when communicating any of the above.
    • Coordination and co-facilitation of team building and strategy planning exercises. 

Knowledge

    • Invaluable knowledge of the business and/or function.
    • Competent in all HR functional areas (staffing, compensation, talent acquisition, etc.).
    • Proven HR business partner skills. Expert knowledge and experience with team dynamics.
    • Expert knowledge of applicable employment laws, compensation philosophies, and the HR operating mechanisms.
    • Applies excellent interpersonal skills both in one-on-one situations with all levels of personnel, and in facilitating group meetings and keeping them on track.
    • Makes well-reasoned, appropriate decisions based on analysis of highly uncertain input or outcomes.
    • Strong business acumen.
    • Understands the business as a member of the management team. 
    •  Understands the principles of change management and is able to architect and execute a complex change effort.
    • Mastery of process and project management skills.
    • Applies in- depth knowledge and teaches and coaches others. 

Education/Experience

    • 10-15 years of progressive HR experience; preferably four to six years working within a business- partner model or working in a business leadership or HR consulting role.
    • In addition to employee relations experience, candidate should have knowledge in at least two of the following HR functional areas: HRIS, HR data analytics, HR Operations, engagement, performance management, compensation, recruiting, or organizational development. 
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • MBA or equivalent degree in Management, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or equivalent relevant experience.
    • PHR/SPHR preferred 
    • Technology services industry and transformation experience preferred
$116,100 - $198,440 a yearFor applicants working in California, Colorado, Washington or New York City, we are excited to share the base salary ranges for this position exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonus. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. • The anticipated starting pay range of California, Washington state and New York City applicants for this role is $135,300 - $198,440 • The anticipated starting pay range of Colorado applicants for this role is $116,100 - $170,280These ranges for candidates may be modified in the future.Unless already included in the posted pay range and based on eligibility, the role may include variable compensation in the form of bonus, commissions, or other discretionary payments. These discretionary payments are based on company and/or individual performance and may change at any time.
