Head of Supplier Risk

Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.We’re looking for a Head of Supplier Risk to lead our procurement supplier risk team.In this role, you will report to the Head of Procurement Risk and Operational Excellence, and join Atlassian's global procurement team consisting of a highly performing, collaborative group of professionals. You’ll lead a team of dedicated Supplier Risk analysts and managers focused on protecting Atlassian while ensuring a high-quality business experience.As a leader in the procurement team, the Head of Supplier Risk will work with multiple partners at all levels across Atlassian to set the vision for supplier risk program. You’ll ensure our risk processes are lean and operating efficiently, assess and design processes to address new and changing risks, manage efficiency transformation programs and implement improvements to the user experience.

What you'll do

• Manage the supplier risk review process to ensure efficient operation and a high user experience.
• Build a detailed understanding of existing risks and proficiently analyze new risks to integrate them into our process.
• Manage a diverse team of procurement professionals and develop individual growth plans.
• Implement a sustainable supplier risk strategy to mature and improve efficiency in our policies and process.
• Develop partnerships with teams such as: Legal, Privacy, Risk and Compliance, Internal Audit, IT and Security to understand, influence and obtain support.
• Implement a responsible procurement program, including supplier engagement on sustainability and a supplier diversity strategy.

Your background

• Understanding of privacy, data protection, security, regulatory and legal supplier risk topics
• Literacy in risk frameworks, policies, technologies, methodologies, and strategies
• Experience developing lean supplier risk processes
• Experience in a senior leadership role helping teams through change
• Experience writing and presenting executive summaries
• BS/BA degree
• 10+ years of experience within procurement or supply chain with experience in risk roles
• History of partnering well with senior leaders to develop a culture of getting to “yes”
• Passion to understand Atlassian’s products, customers, culture, and business models.
• Understanding of software and cloud services, associated business models, and technology industry trends

CompensationAt Atlassian, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:Zone A: $167,200 - $256,500 Zone B: $150,500 - $230,900 Zone C: $138,800 - $212,900Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience.
