About the role:

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on IT leader to oversee all aspects of our IT systems, while focusing on Cloud security and asset control/management. The candidate will ensure that day-to-day operations, strategic projects, and everything in between is executed effectively.

The Director of IT will combine his/her technical expertise, security knowledge, vendor management, project management, and strategic planning skills to ensure that Recogni’s IT systems seamlessly support the company and its goals. This is an opportunity to improve and build our security and compliance strategy, our information management, and our overall infrastructure.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage an international team of remote IT professionals supporting multiple locations around the globe.
• Ensures data safety and security on cloud networks, systems, and applications.
• Manage and coordinate information technology infrastructure across all locations including points of presence, physical networking equipment, wireless communication devices, and cloud assets.
• Author and implement appropriate corporate-wide IT policies.

• Develop, implement and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security & risk management program.
• Responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of core IT processes including help desk support, change, and incident management.
• Oversee the administration of all enterprise software such as email, file sharing, ERP, and CRM.
• Management and implementation of backup and disaster recovery plan and process.
• Provide hands on support to the business on delivery of new and enhanced capabilities for supported products demonstrating understanding of business process and workflow to support adoption.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and optimizing Cloud assets, permissions, and access.
• Current Information Security Certification
• Ability to work with remote/international teams
• Knowledge of Identity Management (IGA/IAM/PAM) concepts preferred
• Bachelors Degree in IT/IS Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
