They will all be nurtured here.If you’re pursuing your degree to make an impact in the world, Lucid can help you do exactly that by driving to create a better, more sustainable future.We are currently seeking Diagnostic Test engineers to join our SW Test team.  Our team is responsible for testing the vehicle's self-diagnostic and reporting capabilities which give the vehicle owner or repair technician access to the status of various sub-systems, thus allowing them to rapidly identify and remedy malfunctions within the vehicle.Our test process includes requirement analysis, test case creation, test planning and execution, automation, and bug reporting.There is no job quite like it in the industry.  Here’s a bit more of what you’ll do,The Role:·         As the majority of the electronic control units support these self-diagnose features, our team interacts with several sub-systems including infotainment, body, chassis, powertrain, ADAS...·         Design, code and maintain python and CAPL (Automotive oriented C language) automation.·         Injecting failures to confirm that the vehicle is capable of detecting them and reporting them on time and manner.·         Execute and evaluate software sequences or "routines" used by service technicians to repair or evaluate the vehicle.·         Analyze and debug Diagnostic Trouble Codes reported in prototype and customer vehicles.·         Read and compare component part numbers using an internal python-based tool.

Must Haves

• Basic electronics background.
• Scripting in python or C like languages.
• Experience programming embedded systems like raspberry pi, arduino, etc.

Education Requirements

• Pursuing a BS in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• We are only considering students with graduation dates of May 2023 or earlier.
