Let Lucid help you use it by driving to create a better, more sustainable future.  The Role  To build an extremely fast-growing infrastructure and handling TBs data per hour, Lucid needs a dynamic recent MS grad with a keen interest in DevOps and knowledge of data streaming and processing to a develop and manage a reliable operation. In this role you get to do what you love with lots of room to grow, innovate and lead. Here's more about what you will do:    ·  Automate infrastructure deployments with CloudFormation/Terraform   · Develop automation code to deploy and maintain applications that run and monitor services in the public cloud·  Help develop deployment pipelines for services running in Kubernetes· You will design and develop new automation solutions to infrastructure engineering problems  ·  Work closely with application developers and participating in the architectural discussions ·  Build self-service Continuous Delivery tooling to support deployment and lifecycle management of a wide range of compute workloads and services  · Advocate a DevOps culture of automation, self-service, and engineering best practices to enable development teamsOpenings in Newark, CA and Beaverton, OR

Qualifications

• 1+ years of academic or industry experience in DevOps engineering and software development.
• 2+ years of academic or industry coding and scripting experience with Python, Java or similar languages. 
• Experience with AWS
• Familiarity with containerization and scheduling, with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with auto scaling, performance testing and capacity planning
• Experience with restful services, service-oriented architecture, distributed systems, cloud system (AWS) and micro-services.

Education Requirements

• Recent/upcoming completion of MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
