In this role, you will be working closely with Confluence mission control team who are responsible for Confluence admin experiences and edition strategies. You'll partner closely with the product triads (Product Manager, Engineer Manager, Designer) in redefining our permission and sharing experiences as well as advanced admin capabilities, which are crucial for large teams to adopt confluence. We're seeking someone with strong analytics mastery, who is excited about building a strong data foundation and passionate about applying data insights to drive smarter product strategy and ultimately, delight our customers. What you'll do
- Define and build north-star success and guardrail metrics and corresponding measurement plan for the product team, ensuring impact of the team is fairly and accurately measured.
- Build and own self-service dashboards to empower product team to make data-informed decisions
- Leverage our rich user and customer data to identify high impact opportunities for analytics and drive actionable analytics insights
- Be part of building an outstanding analytics culture at Atlassian. Leading by example, through education and the creation of self-service tools, to make a lasting change in how your partners use data to make decisions.
Your background
- 2+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or other quantitative fields
- Expertise in data manipulation and statistical programming languages (e.g. SQL, R or Python) and proficiency in at least one visualization tool (e.g. Tableau, R-Shiny).
- Experience in using statistics as part of your role (e.g. regressions, A/B tests, causal inference).
- Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audience, using story-telling narratives as appropriate
- An agile development mindset, appreciating the benefit of constant iteration and improvement. A very high bar for output quality, while balancing "having something now" vs. "perfection in the future"
