What you will do:

    • Support clients with designing, deploying, and managing privacy and data governance operations and solutions to enable and comply with the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data 
    • Develop technical and functional requirements, evaluate a myriad of solutions & vendors, develop optimal programs and processes, and test the effectiveness of processes, procedures, and technologies  
    • Advise on a wide range of privacy and data governance issues both domestically and abroad 
    • Contribute to Optiv’s thought leadership and unique methodology to not only our clients, but also the wider community  
    • Operate, both independently and with a team, of privacy and data governance SMEs 
    • Stay informed with industry trends, best practices, and new innovative solutions as it relates to data privacy and governance 

How you'll make an impact:

    • Responsible for overall client life cycle management from sales to delivery
    • Drive demand generation within, including sales enablement support
    • Identify cross-sell & up-sell opportunities across the Services portfolio
    • Partner with Directors, Sr. Managers, and clients to develop tailored solutions to client challenges
    • Oversight of the proposal & SOW creation for the proposed execution
    • Mentorship of consultants, managers (Matrixed reporting-no direct reports)
    • Accountable for success of client relationship
    • Work with the Practice Managers/Director to ensure that proper resources are lined up against the delivery proposal
    • Meet client delivery needs in a cost-effective, efficient manner
    • Ensure quality of deliverables and services provided exceed client expectations
    • Strong ability to identify and partner with cross-practice offerings

Qualifications for Success:

    • 4+ years of related work experience in data privacyan/or data governance advisory services 
    • Minimum of 3+ years of related work experience in developing, solutioning, and implementing data privacyand/or data governance programs and operations 
    • Experience in driving large and complex initiatives and projects from framing the problem, conducting research / analysis to building the business and operational plans through to driving execution to success 
    • Experience working with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, LGPD, etc) 
    • Experience building and managing privacy and data governance programs 
    • Experience utilizing privacy and data governance technologies (OneTrust, BigId, etc.) 
    • Experience working in a consultant capacity across a variety of industry and focus topics relating to data privacy and data governance  
    • Highly independent individual who can run engagements and strategic imperatives from inception to completion.  
    • Strong leadership and communication skills – written and verbal -- to work with clients at various levels; well-versed with business and technical discussions 
    • Integrated thinker with an ability to apply intuition, experience, and judgement to the available data   
    • IAPP Certification preferred
