Climate Program Manager, Supplier Engagement

This structure provides the unique opportunity and expectation to think intersectionally about how we can support the planet and the people in it.We're hiring a Climate Program Manager, focused on supplier engagement and business travel emissions, reporting to the climate lead. You are a sustainability professional with a background in delivering value chain emissions reductions. What you'll do

• Partner with multiple teams including procurement to complete existing, and develop new supplier engagement projects aimed at encouraging suppliers to set their own Science-Based Targets and reducing Atlassians value chain emissions.
• Facilitate engagement with different partners from Travel to TeamAnywhere to ensure business travel emissions are considered, identify opportunities to reduce our business travel emissions
• Build systems and programs to scale engagement approaches across the organization and communicate progress and roadblocks
• Manage data relevant to our supplier engagement and business travel emissions goals
• Support other climate programs to reduce Atlassians emissions in a just and equitable way

Your background

• A Bachelor's degree or above in business, environmental studies, sustainability
• 5+ years of experience in emissions reduction initiates across scopes 1-3, engaging suppliers to reduce emissions, and delivering business travel emissions reductions
• Success with independently project managing several programs in distributed global teams with competing responsibilities
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams (including Procurement, Travel, Workplace) and managing relationships with internal and external partners.
