Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.Your future teamAtlassian University is looking for a Senior Manager to oversee the credentialing function for our Atlassian Certification program. You will act in an expert capacity to grow our technical credentialing program into a high-demand program, evolve and modernize our credentialing functions ( e.g. exam development and management, re-certifications, psychometrics, R&D), ensure departmental progress and accountability, and manage team resources. You will also partner with our Atlassian University and Community teams on strategies and projects that further our vision to promote faster product adoption and provide tangible value and career advancement to our learners. What you'll do
- Manage hands-on Atlassian University’s certification program; define performance goals for the team
- Support our 3-year vision to grow our cert business by designing and launching career-building credentialing and recognition (gamification) programs that develop brand champions through our Community
- Manage and refine our systems, policies, operational processes and vendors to support program excellence and deliver high customer satisfaction
- Manage the certification team by creating and supporting a workplace culture of caring, purpose, and results, providing exam development guidance and direction
- Ensure collaborative, strategic, and values-based decision-making that results in high team morale and cross-departmental engagement
- Stay on top of Atlassian product changes to keep our offerings aligned; cultivate your network across product teams, channel teams, and partner organizations
- Manage our quarterly/annual certification business planning, budget, purchase requisition processes, and expenditures
On Your First Day We’ll Expect You to Have:
- 10+ years in a managerial position growing a high-demand, tiered certification business
- 6+ years leading a team of exam development experts in cloud software or a related industry
- 6+ years experience turning strategy into execution to launch measurable, career-building certification programs
- Background in technical implementations/administered Atlassian solutions or similar SaaS products
- Success with aligning decisions with organizational goals and plans (backed by data), leading Agile teams, and working in fluid environments with high collaboration
- You will report to the head of Atlassian University
