Job Description Summary:Works closely with customers to understand business needs and develop solutions for enterprise applications. Understand customer goals and objectives and utilizes knowledge of systems and tools to help meet goals and drive efficiency within the customer business processes, systems and tools. Understands the customer’s business operations and strategies and the customer’s operating industry, and how applications drive business results and competitive advantage.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Rackspace is hiring a Dynamics 365 Business Systems Consultant IV, with a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM applications. Qualified candidates must be able to communicate effectively both internally and with clients, as well as have a solid understanding of best practices while being self-motivated. Candidates must have both functional and technical experience with the Dynamics 365 CRM applications, both on-premise and cloud versions. Candidate understands and documents current state for customer application processes and configurations. Documents desired state, identifies opportunities, assesses available technologies, and advises customer on system capabilities and options to reach desired state. Advises customer on efficiencies and process improvements to consider based on application capabilities, best practices, and understanding of customer business objectives. Proactively identifies issues and roadblocks and addresses through customer consultation prior to solution implementation. Creates detailed technical specifications and data models for customer solutions. Creates roadmaps for customer changes and implementations. Serves as a liaison between customer and technical team to implement solutions, resolve questions, and assist with training. Manages the testing and application of systems configurations in line with project time frames. Analyzes results of application testing to ensure solution matches the documented business need. Develops training outlines for end users. Works with solutions architects and technical SMEs to translate project requirements into solution designs, project estimates, and activity plans. Creates project/customer engagement documentation. Works within team to identify and resolve common issues with internal processes. Drives and implements best practices within the team.KNOWLEDGEExpert knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM applications in one or more modules/systems. Ability to apply conceptual knowledge of business processes and technology to solve business process and procedural problems. Advanced communication skills; oral, written and presentation. Ability to mentor others.SKILLSDevelop best business practices and guidance around the Dynamics 365 CRM offerings including project plans, strategic partnerships with ISVs, configuration versus customization guidance, and documentation practices. Serve as subject matter expert on Dynamics 365 CRM technology (at least 2 of the CRM applications), Power Platform, and common ISVs and tools, and provide guidance on licensing requirements. Contribute to presales efforts and deliver proposals, ensuring realistic, innovative and cost effective solutions to meet customer objectives and expectations in a timely manner & nbsp; Scope, plan and deliver consulting engagements across the Dynamics 365 customer engagement applications and Power Platform, using internal and 3rd party resources and tools. Deliver Dynamics 365 CRM implementations and/or enhancements independently and lead Dynamics 365 projects from project kick-off through post production support & nbsp; Hold requirements meetings with customers, either onsite or remotely, in order to design a solution to improve the customers business processes through Dynamics 365. Analyze customer’s requirements to develop a fit/gap analysis based on Dynamics 365 capabilities, project scope and budget, and ISVs available through AppSourceCreate documentation for customer stories, business requirements, system design, business processes and customization coding. Hold onsite and/or remote training sessions with customers on the system functionality and/or the systems design & nbsp; Configure the customer’s Dynamics 365 applications and environment (sandbox/production) based on the customer requirements including, but not limited to, tasks such as data migration, security configuration, form customizations, field customizations, Power Automate development, and production conversion & nbsp; Support ongoing enhancements and provide support for customers with their Dynamics 365 CRM applications.  Self-motivated, organized, customer-oriented, and passionate learner with excellent communication and presentation skills.CERTIFICATIONSMicrosoft Dynamics 365 Certification(s) is a plusEXPERIENCE12+ years experience as a user of enterprise application requiring knowledge of system capabilities and configuration and/or business systems analysis experience. Business systems consulting experience required. Project management experience required. Combination of experience with both on-premise and cloud solutions with experience in moving customers from on-premise solutions to cloud solutions. Knowledge of related ISVs.
