ADAS Software Integration Engineer

If you are driven to create a better, more sustainable future, then this is the right place for you.The ADAS/AD team is currently seeking a Software Integration Engineer to be responsible for the integration of perception software systems into the vehicle. This position requires an experienced professional with a track record of technical excellence in automotive sensing and tracking applications.Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection.

Your Role:

• Integrate software stack with the overall perception software stack for running onboard perception system with excellent performance and high fault tolerance
• Conduct on-road ADAS software testing and create test plans to support algorithm development
• Contribute to the systems requirements and identify performance metrics for individual components
• Contribute to the ADAS software roadmap, strategic planning, and development timeline

Qualifications:

• Ability in writing efficient c++ or Python code
• 2+ years of experience with real time operating systems (e.g., QNX, Ubuntu, etc.)
• At least 1 year of experience in component and system software integration, testing and verification
• Experience with CAN and Automotive Ethernet communication protocols
• A practical hands-on approach to complement the theoretical knowledge and creativity required to solve Autonomous Driving
• Excellent communication skills

Advantageous:

• Experience in Vehicle CAN tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, etc.)
• Familiarity with popular build tools (CMake, Make, etc.)
• Knowledge of common automotive sensors (e.g. Camera, Radar, Lidar, etc.)
• Basic Knowledge of ROS, DDS or other middleware systems
• Experience in working in agile development teams
• Experience in automotive supplier interaction, specification development, release management, change management

Education:

• BS minimum in the areas of Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related fields
