The opportunity:
- KPMG New Zealand seeks a passionate Industry Driver for the Financial Services sector. This role involves developing client relationships, driving revenue growth, and supporting the firm’s strategy for the Financial Services sector. You will collaborate with the National Industry Lead to execute strategic plans and achieve goals.
Day to day you will:
- Lead individually and support colleagues with client relationship management, business development disciplines, and sales origination activities.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities in the market. You will collaborate with Client Lead Partners, Partners, Directors, and other business development professionals across the firm to do this.
- Develop and implement Financial Services industry strategy and plans to enhance our brand, reputation, and business contribution. This will involve working across the firm to bring the best to the market for Financial Services.
- Maintain a recognised public profile in the NZ market by working closely with industry bodies, participating in industry events and presenting on relevant topics. Making sure that we are participating as a firm with and at these with our people and our services.
- Provide leadership in developing sector content, identifying industry trends, and leveraging KPMG's global thought leadership to drive brand and service awareness in the market.
- Support the development and management of staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
What you'll bring to our team:
- A relevant tertiary qualification and 8+ years of experience in professional services.
- Demonstrated expertise in the Financial Services sector.
- Proven track record of creating and sustaining strong client relationships and generating business results.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strategic thinking and a focus on achieving goals.
