Job Description:
Accenture Federal Services is looking for a Threat Intelligence Analyst to help conduct deep research into social engineering and cyber-attack campaigns and collaborates closely with data scientists, researchers, investigators, engineers, and internal & external partners to counter these threats. This person will own the Cyber Threat Operations Center (CTOC) Threat Intelligence processes and procedures. This role may include the need to work outside of core hours on high priority investigations and may also include on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities include:
- Define, document, and manage cyber threat Investigations and Incidents within the CTOC
- Maintains the Incident Management processes, incident response playbooks, and related workflows
- Validates the severity of system outages in accordance with the CEN Matrix
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve incidents
- Manage relationships with external investigators and incident-response entities
Here's what you need:
- 5 years of experience in a technical role in the areas of Security Operations, Malware analysis, Threat Intelligence, Cyber Incident Response, or Penetration Testing/Red Team; OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years of experience in Threat Hunt, Incident Response, Penetration Testing, etc.
- 3 years of data analysis
Bonus points if you have:
- CISSP, CISA, CISM, SANS, GCIA, GCIH, OSCP, and/or Security+, or certificate in Incident Management or similar role managing incident and crisis response
- Scripting experience: SQL, Python, C#, Regex, Azure Data Explorer – KQL, etc.
- 3+ years of experience working in IT Service Management, Cybersecurity Management, or a similar role in a NOC/SOC environment
- Expert knowledge of desktop security, forensics data capture, chain of custody concepts, open-source intelligence, and investigative methods
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate facts, findings, and solutions to leadership and external stakeholders at varying levels
- Demonstrated knowledge within the cybersecurity domain
- Extensive experience with Investigative report writing; strong professional and technical writing skills
- Knowledge of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and regulations
- Knowledge of basic system administration and operating system hardening techniques
Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI clearance required to start
Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here. Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role California: $122,600 - $198,800 Colorado: $122,600 - $171,700 New York City: $141,800 - $198,800 Washington: $160,500 - $182,800
