Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.The Strategic Marketing Operations Lead will support the strategy and delivery of the roadmap, integration, adoption and value realization of digital marketing technologies for Atlassian's GTM motions as well as identifying strategic opportunities to continuously optimize the digital platform's value proposition. This business-side role lies at the intersection of marketing and technology.This hands-on role is for a detailed-oriented leader who is passionate about customer journey and data development, comfortable in working in a fast paced environment and excited to build a world-class data platform. The ideal candidate should be technically oriented, must have analysis skills and effective problem solving ability.This role will work closely with world-class Marketing, Sales, Technology and Business Analytics teams to maximize functionality of our current marketing automation technology, while also suggesting areas of improvement and innovation. Responisbilities

    • Single View of the Audience: Lead the Customer 360 approach, prioritizing delivery, accessibility and UX to stakeholders. Collaborate with IT to Implement and adopt org-wide use of the CDP system and supporting marketing technologies.
    • Business Partnership: Organize & facilitate discovery and requirement capture workshops for strategic objectives like CDP, Lead Lifecycle etc. Partner with IT to translate these requirements into clearly articulated User Stories, roadmap and implementation plans.
    • Data Governance & Hygiene: Oversee the Data Quality, including the collection and maintenance of complete, consistent and compliant data. Execute data validation, and perform UAT hands-down.
    • Build to scale: Establish, maintain, and optimize scalable marketing processes for campaign and lead generation/management. Build proofs-of-concept (POC) for potential new solutions and technologies by partnering with technology teams.
    • Enablement & improve Productivity: Train and support marketing stakeholders on using our marketing technology products. Be an advocate within the organization by presenting and socializing the current and new capabilities being built and how they can unlock growth opportunities for different functions within the organization.
    • Project Management: Work closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure project & timelines are aligned with GTM strategic goals and overall data & analytics strategy. Partner with internal IT teams to ensure adherence to product release schedules and the overall roadmap.

Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of experience in B2B demand generation, DTC Lifecycle and corresponding marketing technology stack.
    • Extensive hands-on experience with a CDP (Custom/Salesforce/Adobe etc) to build and enrich customer profile for omnichannel marketing.
    • Experience with SQL is a must to query transactional, product, marketing, sales & web analytics raw data.
    • Strong technical understanding of Marketing Automation tools (Marketo/SFMC/Iterable etc), Salesforce CRM architecture and Analytics platforms (Google/Adobe Analytics).
    • Comprehensive understanding of enterprise lead generation standard methodologies.
    • Produce high quality and quantity of work product, occasionally under tight timelines.
    • Deep understanding of REST APIs is a BIG plus!
