Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.JOB DUTIES:                  Design and implement new features and functionalities in Confluence, Atlassian’s collaboration software product utilizing JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, CSSE, and Java and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, AngularJS and Vue). Design creative improvements to improve the Confluence software and work with other developers to write the best code for each project. Design and build production-level web applications. Mentor junior team members. Work with modern testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Mocha, Chai).Responsible for front-end architecture and data-driven development and work with designers to develop dynamic user experiences for the Confluence software. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:      Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field of study plus two (2) years of experience designing and building production-level web applications; Javascript (ES6), HTML5, CSS experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, AngularJS, Vue); two (2) years of experience with modern testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Mocha, Chai) and any modern object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Scala, Python, Javascript, etc.); deep understanding of front-end architecture and data-driven development and working with designers to develop dynamic user experiences. ALTERNATE REQUIREMENTS:     Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field of study and five (5) years‘ progressive experience designing and building production-level web applications; Javascript (ES6), HTML5, CSS experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, AngularJS, Vue); five (5) years’ progressive experience with modern testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Mocha, Chai) and any modern object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Scala, Python, Javascript, etc.); deep understanding of front-end architecture and data-driven development and working with designers to develop dynamic user experiences. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:          Must pass technical interview.OFFERED WAGE: $183,310.00 to $247,300.00 per yearOur perks & benefitsTo support you at work and play, our perks and benefits include ample time off, an annual education budget, paid volunteer days, and so much more.About AtlassianThe world’s best teams work better together with Atlassian. From medicine and space travel, to disaster response and pizza deliveries, Atlassian software products help teams all over the planet.
