Senior Security Analyst

Job Purpose: Possess a strong background in information security, and technology concepts and language. In addition, a familiarity with proposal writing, corporate compliance and contracting language is desired. Have at least five years’ experience in interpreting and responding to technical and information security questions/questionnaires that are part of the RFP process and/or the pre-Sales onboarding process. Have familiarity with security certifications as well as industry-standard security questionnaires (Standardized Information Gathering, Consensus Assessment Initiative Questionnaire). Work closely with the Info Security team, developing clear and accurate responses that can be understood by technical and non-technical readers alike. Responsible for managing and updating responses in the RFP content library related to technology and information security as well as general responses related to functional technology, contracting, SLAs, etc. Implement enterprise security solutions, formulate and implement compliance & security standards, perform vulnerability scans and arrange for resolutions.

What You Will Do:

  • Support InfoSec team as it relates to functional technology, security, and privacy (i.e., acts as SME on technical/security question sets in RFPs)
  • Support the business by managing initial prospect and contracting questionnaires pertaining to security practices, policies, and controls
  • Review documents and contracts for compliance with final approval and responses to all questionnaires and contracts
  • Develop, update, and maintain security/privacy content
  • Answer and manage one-off information security questions related to sales and contracting
  • Ensure final submissions are clear, concise, error free, and consistently formatted through drafting and review processes
  • Ensure submissions are stored on correct drives
  • Attend and contribute to proposal kick off calls and strategy sessions, as needed, depending on size and depth of information security requirements
  • Manage multiple requests to meet client deadlines as well as internal deadlines
  • Implement enterprise security solutions such as WAF, IDS/IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM
  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of compliance & security standards
  • Perform vulnerability scans, outline findings and test findings, and create service tickets for their resolutions.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to understand complex RFP/RFI requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Broad general background working with technology, privacy, and InfoSec content and questionnaires
  • Previous experience with developing proposals and coordinating responses to RFPs /RFIs
  • Excellent project management skills (strong time management, effective communication, organization, and planning capabilities)
  • High tolerance of change and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while managing tight deadlines
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Willingness to work with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • Experience using and managing content libraries
