Job Profile SummaryAssists in the timely and accurate reporting of financial results to our debt holders, equity investors, and management. Duties of this role include the preparation and/or review of external quarterly and annual reports, internal management reporting, and investor earnings call materials. This role is also responsible for financial statement analysis and other deliverables to our auditors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in the preparation and development of external financial reporting, including quarterly and annual reports.
- Assists with the preparation and review of monthly management reporting packages.
- Analyzes financial statements balances and fluctuations monthly and quarterly.
- Reviews cashflow statement and supporting schedules.
- Reviews share based compensation and equity accounting.
- Provides support to investor relations and develops critical information for earnings releases and other required external information.
- Researches GAAP and SEC disclosure requirements and prepares documentation around accounting conclusions reached.
- Participates in process improvement initiatives.
Knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Strong understanding of technical accounting including SEC and SOX reporting requirements.
- Strong time management, communications, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex problems. Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel.
- Uses skills as an experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Ability to adapt and learn and apply professional concepts.
- Ability to communicate financial information and ideas so others will understand.
- Ability to propose solutions considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions.
- Ability to lead special projects from beginning to end and facilitate meetings.
- Detail oriented.
Education / Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline required.
- Typically requires 6-9 years of professional accounting experience, including a minimum of 2 years of technical accounting or SEC reporting as a primary responsibility.
- ERP experience a plus.
- Public and/or Big Four experience preferred

The anticipated starting pay range of Colorado applicants for this role is $75,300 - $97,600.
