As a Senior (not only) Software Engineer, you'll have the chance to:

• Investigate problems faced by the clients with operations at a challenge-level scale
• Guide projects independently, from technical design to launch
• Drive valuable improvements in one of the key areas of the product
• Apply architectural standards and use them on new projects
• Partner directly with Atlassian Support to help resolve some of their most challenging cases.
• Contribute to code reviews and internal documentation
• Collaborate with our Content Designers on customer-facing documentation
• Mentor less experienced members of the team
• You will report directly to Engineering Manager

On your first day we'll expect you to have:

• At least 5+ years of experience in commercial software development
• Deep architectural understanding of Java web applications and a working knowledge of Java in general
• Solid troubleshooting and skills in analyzing logs, monitoring and profiling systems, finding correlations or strange patterns, debugging, and profiling applications.
• Well-versed in DevOps practices and the related skillset
• Work both independently and as part of a team
• Proficient English (both spoken and written).
