Senior Front End Software Engineer, Confluence Cloud Performance Experience

Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.Your future teamThe Confluence Cloud team is looking for an accomplished Front End Software Engineer to join the Performance Experience Front-End team. The team's mission is to improve enterprise experience, performance, and front-end infrastructure. You'll work as part of a rapidly growing high-energy team delivering incredible impact for our customers. You'll collaborate with other developers to write the best code and deliver amazing results that our users love.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 7+ years of experience designing and building production-level web applications
• Effectively mentor junior team members to help them unleash their full potential
• Specialization in Javascript (ES6), HTML5, CSS, experience with modern Javascript frameworks (e.g., React, AngularJS, Vue)
• Experience with modern testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Mocha, or Chai)
• Deep understanding of front-end architecture and data-driven development
• Ability to work with designers to develop dynamic user experiences

It's great, but not required if you have:

• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience with large scale single-page web applications
• Experience engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity
• Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies
• Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code

CompensationAt Atlassian, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:(Zone A: $161,200 - $247,300)(Zone B: $145,100 - $222,600)(Zone C: $133,800 - $205,300)Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience.
