In this role, you'll get to:

• Build and establish cross-company trust and alignment on impactful financial projects
• Deep technical know-how in building sophisticated financial models, balancing complexity with simplicity
• Engage with Product and Platform teams to create unit metrics on the cost to serve and product costing to aid in product profitability analysis
• Drive data-driven insights into business performance, supporting strategic decision-making
• Provide insights that help drive efficient capital allocation across the company
• Own the communications strategy on projects which includes executive-level and detailed project briefs and status updates
• Leverage visualization and mapping tools such as Tableau, Excel and other data analytics tools to conduct analysis and insight

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

• Qualitative:
• Possess a strong work ethic and are high energy
• Are innovative, decisive, and willing to challenge the status quo
• Ability to evaluate and tackle complex problems and understand the implications of different business approaches.
• Have a consistent record of motivating change while still being collaborative and inclusive in nature
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex financial information to leaders
• Are a strategic problem solver, especially when navigating ambiguity, hands-on and resourceful
• Are adaptable and handle contending responsibilities in a timely manner
• Quantitative:
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience in finance
• Proficiency with financial modelling and spreadsheets (Excel, Gsheets etc)
• Technology or Software / SaaS industry experience
• Knowledge of BI tools and technologies (e.g. Tableau, Anaplan etc)
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Finance, Accounting, Economics), MBA and/or CPA is a plus

$124,800 - $230,600 a yearCompensationAt Atlassian, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:Zone A: $150,300 - $230,600Zone B: $135,300 - $207,600Zone C: $124,800 - $191,400Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience. This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and/or equity.Please see here for more information on which locations are included in each of our geographic pay zones.
