Senior Engineering Manager, UI Platform

If you are passionate about building solutions that improve the way developers deliver frontend experiences, then this is the place to be!We in the UI Platform department are hiring a Senior Engineering Manager for our CI/CD group to help us evolve our CI/CD pipelines to achieve peak scalability and performance. You will manage a team that are running several DevOps projects to unlock huge improvements in frontend developer productivity.

What you'll do

• Lead a team of software engineers through hiring, mentoring, and hands-on career development.
• Work with leadership and principal engineers to guide the roadmap for scaling and evolving the CI/CD pipelines in the frontend monorepo.
• Provide mentorship and growth opportunities for the engineers in your team.
• Drive cultural and process improvements through engineering excellence, quality and efficiency.
• Support teams in driving large projects with complex dependencies and multiple partners.
• Communicate strategy, plans, and status at all levels of the UI Platform organisation.

Your background

• 5+ years of experience managing software engineers.
• 10+ years of experience building large-scale and modern web software at a similar-sized SaaS company.
• Experience influencing teams inside and outside your own organisation, with the ability to collaborate with teams across different geo-locations.
• Experience driving operational and engineering excellence improvements across teams.
• Experience and passion for shipping platform tooling.
• Experience managing employee performance and career growth.
