We’re one team doing the right thing for our customers, communities, and each other.Position Overview: As our Security Risk and Compliance Management Specialist IV you’ll act as an advocate in development of overall information security program globally. You’ll also create and perform global IT Risk and Compliance assessments. You’ll have the opportunity to assist in development and execution of information security, compliance, and risk best practices globally through audits, assessments, and policymaking. You’ll be Primarily responsible keeping the Rackspace Government Services (RGS) organization compliant with both NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP security control frameworks. Work Location:  Work may be performed remotely from any of the 48 continental United States.Key Duties and Responsibilities:·       Maintain a FedRAMP Joint Authorization Board (JAB) authorized cloud platform’s System Security Plan (SSP) and FedRAMP authorization package components.·       Communicates and collaborates with a wide range of operations and support teams to establish, implement, and document Rackspace control, implementation(s).·       Governs the internal FedRAMP control activities to ensure management, technical, and operational controls are being executed without exception.·       Executes FedRAMP Continuous Monitoring program requirements and prepares artifacts to submit to authorizing officials.·       Observes, tests, and verifies control implementation across a cloud platform and where necessary orchestrates and monitors remediation and improvement projects and tasks.·       Serves as a FedRAMP compliance representative for Rackspace and interacts directly with federal authorizing officials and key agency stakeholders.·       Collect FedRAMP compliance evidence artifacts and present to auditors, customers, and federal agency key stakeholders.·       Serve as an internal subject matter expert on FedRAMP control scope, design, and interpretation to internal teams.·       Prepares for annual FedRAMP assessments, Significant Change Requests, and customer requested audits.·       Serves as the Rackspace primary Point of Contact (POC) for engaging with external FedRAMP assessors and audit teams.·       Manages risk remediation activities and associated Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) documentation. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s): ·       Advanced knowledge of the FedRAMP authorization and Continuous Monitoring programs and associated requirements.·       Advanced understanding of the NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP security control framework and associated control families and requirements.·       Intimately familiar with FedRAMP assessment processes, Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M) management and working directly with FedRAMP authorizing officials.·       Experience with drafting policies and procedures, and system security plans (SSP’s) Preferred KSA’s:·       Prefer- Previous auditing experience from a 3rd Party Assessment Origination (3PAO) ·       Previous CSP IaaS or PaaS experience is a plus!Required Experience/Education:·       6+ years of related experience ·       High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Studies, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field is preferred.Federal Investigation:·       This role will be supporting our Federal Customers new hires will undergo a background investigation from the US Government.  ·       US Citizen is required. Covid Protocol: Subject to applicable law, please be aware that this role includes a requirement that the individual be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. The anticipated starting pay range of Colorado applicants for this role is $96,100 - $124,600. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
