Our team is responsible for the infrastructure around building, deploying, and monitoring our services, databases, and caches. Our services handle 3k+ requests per second, ingest over 1TB/day of data and processes over $1MM/day in sales, while maintaining a 99.9+% uptime

As a member of our team you will

• Work with cutting edge infrastructure tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Datadog, and Istio
• Proactively identify and reduce security risks
• Help engineers develop secure systems by advising on secure patterns and practices
• Introduce new controls into our infrastructure that enhance our defense in depth
• Implement DevSecOps practices like automated container scanning to detect potential vulnerabilities
• Work with external auditors and penetration testers to discover and mitigate vulnerabilities
• Find and remove outdated and vulnerable code and code libraries
• Create and manage our public bug bounty program

• Infrastructure as Code in Terraform and Helm
• Datadog and Opsgenie for logging, monitoring, and alerting
• Tens of containerized microservices running our application code, written in Python and/or JS

About You

• You have experience and comfort with POSIX-based operating systems
• You understand how networked services in AWS work: VPC, IP, TCP, DNS, HTTP, IAM, etc.
• You learn quickly, regardless of the languages and technologies used
• You have strong threat modeling skills to enable you to understand systems and what can go wrong
• You have experience working in a high security and/or highly regulated industry
• You are a strong communicator
• You have experience collaborating with other security/devops engineers and developers to deliver a complex project
• You are looking forward to working in a fast-paced startup environment
