At Assurance, we are innovative, persevering, collaborative, calculated, and authentic, and we're working together to improve the lives of millions!About the RoleAs a Security Analyst in Information Security Reviews, you will work with a team of other analysts, engineers, software developers, and technical program managers. You will assist with application security reviews, vendor reviews, and security audits as well as collaborate with subject matter experts across Assurance on finding technical solutions, driving mitigation and/or remediation activities from security reviews and audits across the company to further strengthen our security posture.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform security reviews including application security and vendor security reviews Own and coordinate after action and remediation activities from security reviews with service teams and stakeholders across AssurancePartner with product teams across Assurance to develop scalable solutions and integrate security reviews within product designDevelop tooling to automate and refine security reviews Own readiness assessments and assist with third-party auditsBasic QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or other related fields or equivalent experience2+ years of experience in a role that focuses on IT security (operations, response, threat intelligence, application security, etc)2+ years of experience Scripting/coding experience with one or more languagesAbility to influence without authority, deal with ambiguity, and establish clear priority and strategyAbility think and communicate clearly and effectively during a security eventPreferred QualificationsExperience in the development of security controlsExperience with security reviews, techniques and strategiesExperience with SOC 2, PCI-DSS or other security frameworks Experience with cloud security products such as DataDog, AWS Security, Identity, & Compliance products, Azure Identity, or similarExperience working and influencing across multiple teams and/or organizationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiencesMeets/exceeds Assurance's leadership principles requirements
