The opportunity:
- The position of Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Developer is required to support the establishment and ultimately growth of KPMG’s Robotics Process Automation programme.
- This role will work closely together with an enthusiastic team of business and technical specialists from our RPA core team as well as professionals from our Advisory division.
Day to day you will:
- Work alongside the RPA Business Analyst within the RPA Service Delivery support team to develop and challenge processes selected for consideration for Robotic Process Automation
- Consult on best practice for application of Robotic Process Automation technology
- Code the ‘digital workers’ (RPA software robots) to perform the nominated functions identified and work-shopped by the RPA BA
- Develop test strategy/test scripts (Build/unit test, UAT, PVT)
- Assist with establishing test & development environments (test/pre-production/production)
- Assist or in some cases solely manage promoting changes from development to test and ultimately production
- Be involved in the development, implementation and support for RPA based solutions
- Monitor processes to ensure they are operational and escalating any issues to the Business and/or RPA programme
What you'll bring to the team:
- Relevant Information Technology qualification/s (preferably at Bachelor level)
- IT understanding and basics of software development with proficiency in Visual Basic and C#
- Previous RPA experience with specific RPA products/studios including BluePrism and UiPath is highly desirable
- Experience in process development and documentation
- Wider software development skills and experience in software testing
- Knowledge about machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies is highly desirable
- Wider understanding or experience in financial and accounting processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with the following tech stack is desirable:
