If this sparks your interest, apply today and chat with our friendly Recruitment team further.Your future team:Teams building Atlassian's major cloud products and platforms all rely on a reliable platform to manage their code from development to production, while maintaining code quality and deployment practices. Cloud Infrastructure is the team that builds tools and platforms on which Atlassian products are built. Reporting to the Group Program Manager for Cloud Infrastructure, you'll work with the Production Engineering team whose mission it is to reliably operate our services to support our Products.

What you'll do:

    • Project management:
    • Manage technical programs of small to medium cross-functional scope, from end to end
    • Manage medium complexity dependencies and risks between teams, by aligning stakeholders and escalating
    • Report success metrics for programs including major risks
    • Help provide clarity in the management of budgets (e.g. software services and contractors) for the engineering craft
    • Technical delivery and leadership:
    • Scale leadership by managing multiple technical and operational focused programs
    • Apply technical knowledge to and close technical discussions with principal engineers and architects to unblock project outcomes
    • Collaborate on projects across the Platform and outside Cloud Infrastructure

Your background:

    • Relevant experience in a similar Project Management role; where you've led minimum 1-2 Agile projects across multiple teams, and managed Project schedules
    • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
    • Have worked on software related projects with cloud technologies
    • An understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle); including making decisions to keep projects on track, managing risks and dependencies, and evolved program management standards and operational processes
    • Experience building tools, dashboards and automation to increase transparency and reduce toil
    • Led projects that have included a change component; you've driven change across technical, process, organizational, or strategic changes, and used change management techniques to ensure the mindset shift, adoption and sustained improvement initiated by the change.
