We believe the power of teams have the potential to change the world—one that is more open, authentic, and inclusive.The Executive Search team plays a critical role in unleashing the potential of our team, helping us to inclusively hire multiplier leaders that empower the Atlassian team to deliver remarkable outcomes for customers. We serve as partners to Atlassian’s Leadership Group (ALG) in building their team, serving as strategic advisors who offer much more than a filled position. Researchers are a critical part of elevating our craft, and are involved from the point of intake to retro once a search is closed. We empower our research team with the right resources and data to go deep, and are investing not just in the searches we run, but in the underlying infrastructure needed for a world-class research function. Your weeks will be split across the searches you’re driving with your recruiting partner(s), and investments in that infrastructure (from URG sourcing libraries to company databases to whatever you dream up next!)

In this role, you'll get to:

    • Partner with business leaders and executive recruiters to define and execute on creative recruiting strategies for Sr. Director and VP+ level searches
    • Attend intake meetings and build market maps for each executive search, going deep to help our leaders understand the market and solidify their brief
    • Support recruiters in developing sourcing strategies, and at times, dive right in to help build out projects of qualified candidates for active and upcoming roles
    • Invest in research infrastructure and resources, specifically to support hiring of exceptional candidates from underrepresented backgrounds and distributed talent across the globe

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

    • A strong background in recruiting research, with demonstrable expertise in market mapping and telling powerful stories through data
    • Sophisticated expertise in search strategies, including using advanced Boolean search operators across multiple platforms, with the ability to advise recruiters in identifying exceptional talent from underrepresented backgrounds
    • Experience building and reporting on TA analytics and data leveraging powerful dashboards
    • Knowledge of research tools, including LinkedIn, Applicant Tracking Systems, and more, and an eagerness to explore new tools
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a willingness to present to senior leaders
