Experience with cross functional use cases including IT-Risk, Risk Management fundamentals, Vendor Risk Management, Policy and Compliance Management, Control Testing, GRC/BCP strategy, design, and implementation experience preferred. The Security Consultant has ultimate responsibility for all post-sales service delivery within the Solution Area, including participation in some pre-sale activities. The Consultant maintains ownership and accountability for the Center of Excellence (COE) delivery quality and collateral to support these activities
How you will make an impact:
- Lead the engagement for architecture, development, and configuration of GRC/IRM module(s) and applications with leading GRC/IRM technology
- Facilitate pre-sales initiatives as needed, such as live demonstrations and proof-of-concepts
- Identify and document business and system requirements as per the statement of work
- Experience with sprint planning, iterative build and design concepts and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for GRC/IRM technology
- Prioritize customer success and managing to project scope
- Develop functional and process design prototyping within the GRC/IRM technology (functional and technical design)
- Build and develop test scripts, including testing plans
- Assist clients with training plans and facilitation skills to deliver or help manage training of the GRC/IRM technology, generally in a train-the-trainer format
- Transition the client and engagement activities through successful knowledge transfer after move-to-production and go live
- Mentor and help grow additional team consultants to upskill
- Collaborate with key client stakeholders, business analysts, process leaders, and architects in gathering and interpreting requirements, configuring and scripting them into GRC/IRM Tools such as Archer, LogicGate, ServiceNow and other leading systems in the industry.
- Advise clients on the use of GRC systems in conjunction with internal processes and effectively demonstrate how these systems operate
- Lead the development of platform implementations, integrations, and customizations as needed, based on customer needs
- Lead the collection and implementation of tool requirements and investigate, as necessary, to determine the best solution or configuration options available based on the specific requirement
- Drive code quality, perform code reviews, and lead new development efforts
- Produce required deliverables
Qualifications for success:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in one of the following areas: Management Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Economics or Business Administration
- 8-10 years' experience preferably in a prior GRC/IRM consultant or technical role
- 5+ years of experience in GRC/IRM software implementation
- System administrator experience with a GRC system such as RSA Archer, ServiceNow GRC, Onspring, Lockpath, MetricStream or OpenPages
- Certifications or experience with GRC systems leveraging risk, compliance, policy management, control frameworks are preferred
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with professionals of all levels
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- MS Office proficiency including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at the same time
- Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Willingness to travel 50% or more annually
- Salary bands between $131k-$170K (+ percentage bonus tied to salary)
