Join us.Who we are looking for:The portfolio strategy analyst plays a key role in managing and supporting Innovation Management projects and initiatives. The portfolio strategy analyst supports Innovation Management leadership, services leadership, and other key stakeholders on execution of projects and operational initiatives. The portfolio strategy analyst is responsible for managing the delivery of multiple projects across various project teams, preparing executive communications, tracking key metrics, developing a project schedule to ensure timely completion of projects, and facilitating cross functional discussions. Portfolio strategy analysts will be part of the team that develops and utilizes repeatable and scalable processes to support Optiv’s portfolio and product management goals and initiatives.
How you'll make an impact:
- Lead integrated and cross-functional planning and execution for a new product, inspiring and leading the work of cross-functional teams
- Provide regular visibility into including project status, delays, and issues to relevant stakeholders
- Define scope, schedule, and resources for projects
- Track key performance indicators
- Assist in the development of business plans, positioning, and go-to-market plans
- Prepare executive communications and presentations
- Utilize and help develop repeatable and scalable processes
- Identify and manage project risks, recommending appropriate resolution
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proven problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to simplify and communicate concepts at multiple levels of understanding - both verbally and visually - for different audiences throughout the business
- Documents and shares best practices and lessons learned from observations and problem-solving efforts
Qualifications for success:
- Knowledge of Professional Services Operations is preferred
- Hands-on experience managing projects and working with cross-functional leaders across the business to identify areas of improvement, propose and implement solutions
- Ability to identify/mitigate risks and resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner and escalate as appropriate
- Experience with multiple delivery methodologies (e.g., Lean, Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, etc.)
- Experience with change management and process improvement principles
- Must have a strong "presence" and the ability to participate with various stakeholders to drive initiatives, best practices, and process improvements
- Ability to work independently and exhibit strong time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-directed and driven in complex environments
- Ability to deliver results with aggressive timelines across multiple lines of business
- Pursue continuous improvement and relentless commitment to excellence
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Overall attention to accuracy and detail
- Adaptable and agile in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment, able to thrive and navigate ambiguity
