JOB DESCRIPTION:Rackspace is currently looking for outstanding Microsoft 365 Engineer to join our world class Microsoft 365 team full time. As a Microsoft 365 Engineer for our Microsoft 365 team you will help mid-size and large customers to better plan, migrate, set up, administer and consume Microsoft 365 across their enterprise. A Microsoft 365 Engineer will understand the customer’s business and technical needs by working as an extension of the customer’s IT team. As a Microsoft 365 Engineer you will gain an in-depth knowledge of their business and be able to recommend solutions that best fit their needs utilizing cutting edge technology. Rackspace’s unique culture allows Rackers to grow and develop technically while working at a company that encourages creativity, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.We are looking for Microsoft 365 Engineers who wish to take their careers to the next level by joining our Microsoft 365 team. JOB REQUIREMENTS:Key Accountabilities-             Works closely with the Technical Account Managers and Lead Consultants to ensure ultimate client satisfaction.-             Owning to completion project work as assigned/identified by the Lead Consultant.-             Develop best business practices and guidance around the Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace suite of cloud applications including project plans, configuration versus customization guidance, and documentation practices.-             Serve as subject matter expert on Microsoft 365 technology (at least 1 of the M365 applications) and provide guidance on licensing requirements.-             Scope, plan and deliver consulting engagements across the Microsoft 365 applications and services.-             Closely engage with project manager & lead consultant to identify deliverables, gaps, identify project risks, and develop change orders as required.-             Work with lead consultant and Technical Account Manager to deliver training sessions with customers on the system functionality and/or the systems design.-             Configure the customer’s Microsoft 365 applications and environment (sandbox/production) based on the customer requirements including, but not limited to tasks such as workload migration, security configuration and endpoint management.-             Customize customer’s system to meet the customer’s requirements through either Microsoft 365 portal or PowerShell-             Simulation of issues or proof of concept deployments in the lab and documenting procedures and outcomes.-             Support ongoing enhancements and provide support for customers with their Microsoft 365 applications.-             Takes escalations and works as an extension of the Microsoft 365 Support team when called upon, making technical recommendations about solutions where necessary.-             Build documentation & training material for new Microsoft 365 features and functionality as it is releasedKey Performance IndicatorsKPIs Include (not limited to): -             Positive feedback from fellow team members on delivery, deadlines and growth -             Positive feedback from customers, support, and sales teams on ability to deliver supportable solutions -             Demonstrated effective time management with multiple in-flight projects-             Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction as needed -             Demonstrated collaboration and working as part of a team -             Demonstrated capabilities in driving the delivery process beyond technical contributions -             Track record of being proactive and reaching out to customers, support and sales to address concerns head on -             Earning of Trusted Advisor status with our customers -             Contributions to shape the Rackspace portfolio -             Contributions to improving processes within the delivery organization -             Contributions to improving processes within Rackspace -             Contributions to evolving the role of the Microsoft 365 team -             Demonstrated formalized sharing of knowledge and elevation of team members knowledgeAbout Rackspace TechnologyWe are the multicloud solutions experts.
