We are currently seeking a Manager – International Product and Software Engineering to help define and build Lucid’s e-commerce and service capabilities. This role is part of our Retail and Commerce Systems team that is responsible for everything commerce related at Lucid Motors including: vehicle reservation, configuration and ordering, customer payments, the order management and delivery process, and developing features and commerce opportunities for vehicle owners. We also build the systems used by our internal teams for sales, delivery, service operations and customer care. You will have oversight of a cross functional team of engineers, product managers, and designers that is based in Europe and report to our head of Retail and Commerce Systems. This team will be primarily focused on developing commerce and service features and functionality for our international markets and is matrixed into HQ teams. We are looking for someone who has prior management experience in both software engineering and product management and is passionate about creating well designed software and user experiences. You should also have experience with developing international software for global markets.

You will:

• Building next generation commerce experiences and integrations
• Day to day supervision of the European engineering and product development team
• Mentoring and providing insight to engineers and product managers
• Coordinating projects and priorities with the HQ team

You have:

• 8+ years of professional experience managing both software engineering and product management teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer experiences and products
• Experience working in a remote team for a global corporation
• In-depth knowledge of best practices for software development and product management
• Prior experience developing localized versions of a global software product or web application
• Previous e-commerce or automotive experience
• Excellent visual, verbal, and written presentation skills
