Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates should have a strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, controls, and how vehicle systems interact with one another. Candidates should be motivated to learn and excel in a fast-paced environment. 

The Role

• To test Motor control software to the defined requirements
• Develop intuitive Matlab user interface tools to support post processing and analysis of dyno test results.
• Develop and streamline the test report generation for control software validation.
• Develop and improve model-in-the-loop (MIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations of motor controls.
• Work alongside industry gurus in building our revolutionary Lucid Air 

You Bring

• Knowledge of electrified powertrain operation
• Knowledge in electric motor operations
• Proficiency in Motor controls concepts
• Experience developing control systems using MATLAB & Simulink
• Proficiency in C programming language
• Great communication skills
Nice to haves: 
• Experience in Git or other version control methods
• Experience in Labview and Veristand from National Instruments
• Experience in using CANape and CANalyzer
• Experience in PCB design, schematic capture and layout
Education Preference: 
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's / Master’s / PhD’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), or Automotive Engineering.
