Information Security Risk and Compliance Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist in provisioning evidence to external and internal auditors for the security certifications program
• Assist in performing risk assessments — including third-party vendor assessments, and follow up on associated security risk remediation activities
• Participate in the maintenance of all information security documents and trigger regular documentation review processes.
• Participate in the review of regulatory requirements, external policies, or standards related to Information Security, and conduct a gap analysis of internal security policies and requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security-related controls are documented and managed
• Prepare Internal Information Security-related communications (updates on applications and systems, introduction of new services, etc.)
• Participate in the coordination of third-party audits on security, controls, and security compliance; follow up on outstanding items for third-party risk assessments
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned, including but not limited to: Access Management (performing user access reviews, help enforcing Identity and access management policies), Information Security Awareness Trainings, Communications, etc.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Business, Engineering or other, with a minimum of four year progressive information security GRC experience is preferred
• A basic understanding of Security Methodologies is require
• Effective organizational and time management skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to follow work schedules on a short-term and long-term basis
• Ability to deal with complex challenges involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations
• Capability to work with little supervision while performing duties
