About the Role

The Information Security Operations Analyst at iCapital Network is a first responder for reviewing and responding to cyber security alerts and investigating anomalies.  The analyst will work alongside security operations and engineering peers to provide situational awareness through detecting, containing, and resolving cyber security threats using a comprehensive set of cyber security technologies including IDS, IPS, DLP, SIEM, AWS and firewall technologies.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and investigate cyber security alarms
• Triage incidents quickly and effectively, escalating priorities to the rest of the team
• Perform daily and weekly tasks to measure and report on the state of cyber security defenses at the firm
• Front line responder to respond to and remediate cyber security intrusions
• Measure systems to create operational metrics for management
• Assist security engineer with configuration of security tools and alerts
• Conduct open-source threat intelligence review to seek out new indicators of compromise for investigations

Candidate Profile

• 1+ year of security related experience or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Technology, or Computer Science preferred
• Good understanding of TCP/IP protocols
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
• Experience with cloud infrastructure systems, AWS preferred
• A quick learner with desire to always learn combined with the ability to multi-task
• Attentive, organized, and detail-oriented
• Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
