Location: London, Manchester, Bristol or Swansea. HybridSalary: Nationwide £100,000 - £125,000, London & South East: £105,000 - £130,750

Underpinning this is a need for us to do this securely, handling public data safely, and defending against increasing cyber and information security risks.As a Head of Capability Practice for Cyber Security, you will have the exciting opportunity to craft a brand new, world class cyber security practice and developing demand for a cyber security proposition.

You will develop go-to-market plans, test and iterate propositions, and grow demand with existing and new clients. You are responsible for growing your team of practitioners ahead of demand, managing the performance of your experts and supporting career development.

Your role here

  • Contribute to annual and quarterly strategic planning
  • Develop and maintain cyber security capability and industry-specific go-to-markets and propositions
  • Build and scale cyber security team ahead of commercial demand
  • Coach and support Principal Security Engineers to steer the team towards success. You will also be responsible for hiring and line managing Principal and Lead Security Engineers.
  • Play a pivotal part in identifying new opportunities, providing bid support, quality assurance and sponsorship of cyber security propositions .
  • Continuously evolve ways of working, techniques, and technologies based on data on successful outcomes delivered for clients and improve the experience of our practitioners
  • Contribute to central resources in collaboration with the Delivery Management Organisation and other Capability Practices
  • Foster a thriving community of practice and shared identity
  • Consistently deliver thought leadership content and work with marketing to promote and drive growth
  • Work closely with industries to meet your growth target

In the application process the following skills will be assessed

  • Hands-on experience developing a cyber and information security capability or function
  • You will have experience within a professional services organisation, ideally in a commercial lead capacity.
  • Strong and passionate leadership skills and ability to document performance management data
  • Experience articulating strategic direction with why, what and at all levels.
  • You have shaped cyber and information security strategy and managing continuous risk reduction across an organisation, portfolio and/or multiple programmes
