We support Atlassian's growth, and we need world-class CTO operations and seamless delivery for the Engineering organization to ensure we are scaling with the company and putting innovation at the center of everything we do.The CTO Operations Lead (TA Programs) will report to the Head of CTO TPM, Operations and Innovation. As a member of our team, you will develop and implement programs that raise our quality of hire. As an important interlock between the CTO and Talent Acquisition organization, you will represent and propel the needs of CTO within the broader scope of Talent Acquisition programs. As we continue to invest in expanding the size of our team, we want to be deliberate about how we build our team. The CTO Operations Lead will work with the CTO Leadership Team, Talent Acquisition Business Partner, HR Business Partner and other senior leaders within the organization to improve our hiring practices. You role will evolve over time with our operating model to absorb new scope following our CTO organization's priorities.
What you'll do
- Support the ongoing development and improvement of our assessment practices (assessment, interviewer excellence) including the development and ongoing improvement of hiring committees for the CTO organization
- Identify areas of improvement within the hiring process and partner with Talent Acquisition and the wider People Team in developing a roadmap to address opportunity areas
- Guide CTO Leadership Team involvement in important initiatives where input and participation is required to ensure successful program delivery
- Maintain data to track progress and improve the hiring process
- Work with external partners and vendors to improve the hiring process and tooling (in partnership with TA)
- Support additional CTO operational programs within and outside the people team
Your background
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Program management background across related verticals (i.e., the intersection of people and Engineering)
- Experience leading hiring process improvement with impactful outcomes in a scaling organization
- Experience building and improving hiring committees
- Knowledge of hiring best practices and tools
- Collaboration skills, with experience inspiring meaningful partnership and outcomes between different teams and organizations
- Data-driven approach to moving programs forward, with experience using basic reporting tools (Tableau, Excel) to track progress and tell a compelling story.
At Atlassian, we tie our base pay ranges to role and level. In the United States, that means your base pay ranges will fall into one of three geographic pay zones depending on your location. Our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:Zone A: $172,500 - $264,500Zone B: $155,200 - $238,100Zone C: $143,100 - $219,600Within each range, base pay is ultimately determined based on your skills, expertise, and experience.
