You'll work closely with product, platform, and data science teams to tackle the biggest opportunities that will bring us closer to our company-wide mission of scaling to 100 million MAU. This is a great opportunity to help Atlassian connect our users between products, using analytics to build an understanding of what makes different types of customers successful, and utilising our segmentation platform to deliver targeted experiences. This team has the autonomy to generate their own ideas and define their own roadmap, operating with a philosophy of build, measure and learn.
What you'll do
- Build an effective team, empowering them to achieve their goals, and putting those goals into broader context.
- Your greatest responsibility will be looking after the individuals reporting to you, mentoring and supporting them in their professional development, unlocking their potential, and challenging them to step outside their comfort zone to grow and excel.
Your background
- On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
- 3+ years of industry experience leading a team of engineers
- 5+ years of experience as a frontend, or full-stack engineer
- Experience supporting services for multiple products, building scalable platforms, and highly available services
- Demonstrated experience with continuous delivery
- Familiarity with software development methodologies including Agile, Scrum
- Passion for mentoring engineers and helping others achieve their career goals
- Technical knowledge (read code, challenge architecture, provide feedback, etc.)
- It is great if you have:
- Experience diving into user behaviour metrics
- Familiarity with A/B testing techniques
