If this sparks your interest, apply today and chat with our friendly Recruitment team.Your future teamThe Multidisciplinary Teams product team will envision, plan, and build new capabilities within Atlassian's tools to integrate with customers' toolchains expanding beyond the traditional software personas to roles like designers, researchers, marketers, and everyone who contributes to the team sport of building software. As the engineering manager for this team, you will report to the senior engineering leader overseeing both Multidisciplinary Teams and Insights & Data Enablement pillars. You will partner with peers in Product & Design to plan and build projects aimed at expanding the set of personas who can leverage Atlassian's investments in supporting customers' connected toolchains.You have led teams of software engineers in the cloud software space and collaborate with stakeholders from other disciplines such as design and marketing. You'll benefit from technical skills in the cloud-native space, with experience operating at scale across a diverse set of technologies.

What you'll do

    • Coach engineers, helping them work effectively as a team and to grow in their careers
    • Partner with your triad (design + PM) to collaborate on defining roadmaps
    • Help define success criteria and ensure engineering efforts are aligned with goals
    • Contribute to strategy decisions as the engineering representative for your team

Your background

    • 3+ years of engineering management experience, with history shipping both consumer products and cloud services
    • Bachelor or higher degree, or its equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management or a related field of study
