Engineering Manager, Enterprise Data Center

We have an office in Gdańsk but as we continue to expand our footprint in Poland, we can hire eligible candidates remotely anywhere in Poland.The Enterprise DC team provides high-quality, performant, reusable software components that enable DC product teams to focus on their core mission and deliver customer value.Our team goals include enhancing performance and reliability, streamlining delivery of security patches and improving development efficiency across the entire Data Center organization.You'll be reporting to the Senior Development Manager for the DC Platform team.

What you'll do

• Lead a high-performing, ambitious team, supporting their growth and development and empowering them to achieve their goals
• Define long-term roadmap for DC Platform and contribute to Security and Compliance goals for the Enterprise DC organization
• Develop connections with other internal DC Product teams, understanding their needs and developing reusable, software features that will add value to these teams
• Lead the hiring process for the team as the Enterprise DC org continues to scale
• Multiply your impact on the organization by also managing an external contractor team
• Build your network working with engineering and product leaders across the entire Enterprise DC organization

Your background

• 3+ years experience in an engineering leadership role
• Have successfully scaled engineering teams and developed technical expertise within these teams
• Have a track record of successful deliveries in projects that required working across team/org boundaries
• Background in Software Development or DevOps - backend experience is a bonus (Java, Java Web Applications, Spring, OSGi)
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple work streams simultaneously
