We create services, tooling & practices to enhance the Atlassian PaaS Recovery story, and reduce risk for thousands of microservice's.We're hiring a Engineering Manager, reporting to Group Engineering Manager. You are an experienced Engineering Manager with experience in creating the next generation of infrastructure and delivering value to our customers through creative improvements to our products. Here, you'll operate a programme with platform partners & develop engineers through their careers.
What you'll do:
- Hire new engineers into the team.
- Partner with architects and steering committees to deliver work-streams for Continuous PaaS Recovery.
- Achieve success in creating preferred solutions for components to run and operate upon.
- Provide engineer growth through understanding of preferred opportunities
- Identify blockers and address expectations with parallel work-streams
- Aggregate communication and reporting to the initiative steering committee and organisational leadership
Your background:
- 3+ years of experience in Engineering Management with an internal PaaS or Infrastructure team.
- Background in leading a technical engineering team
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
- Success with providing multiple-quarter programs and work-streams
- Success in driving innovation through technical sparring sessions
- Record of partner management to seek the right outcome
- Experience delivering long-term solutions in the infrastructure domain
