Engineering Manager, Bitbucket Data Center

We are focused on improving the productivity of developers and administrators who use Bitbucket daily. We are a growing and high-impact team in the Enterprise organisation at Atlassian.We're hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a team of backend and frontend engineers. Your team will provide an incredible experience for developers who use Bitbucket by building features they love. Your greatest responsibility will be looking after the individuals reporting to you – mentoring and supporting them in their professional development, unlocking their potential, and challenging them to step outside their comfort zone to grow and excel.

What you'll do

• Lead, inspire and grow a team of engineers
• Partner with engineers, designers and product managers to deliver quality features for Bitbucket Data Center
• Contribute to the definition of goals and strategy for your team
• Provide engineering leadership direction and guidance
• Drive quality standards in the team and improve them

Your background

• 2+ years experience leading and developing a team of software engineers
• Experience building large-scale, web-based enterprise software
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies
• A track record of execution, risk management, and delivering outcomes
• Passion for product, and delivering value to customers
