Join us.Who we are looking for:The Director of Ecosystem & Alliances, reporting to the SVP Consulting, develops and manages the Microsoft alliance and partnership that enhances our business model and solution portfolio. This alliance expands our addressable market as well as improves our penetration into existing markets by incorporating technology-enabled solutions that customers want and value but don’t fall into the traditional value-added reseller model. The Director works closely with the Portfolio Management, Services, Marketing, Sales, and Corporate Strategy functions. The Director will focus his/her efforts on managing specific business/services alliances that are a higher priority to the organization due to scope, scale, and value.
What you get to do in this role:
- Identify specific opportunities to work with the target alliance that addresses the organization's needs and customer needs, and work with the target alliance to bring these to market.
- Build and execute a Microsoft partnership strategy resulting in incremental revenue growth
- Manage multiple projects, initiatives, and associated contacts at Microsoft as part of effectively managing the alliance and driving growth between the companies
- Represent the organization in marketing activities including conference participation and speaking, field marketing events, external coverage, etc.
- Work effectively with Portfolio Management, Sales, Marketing, Services, Sales Operations, Partner Solutions, Legal, Procurement, and other key functions that also interact with target alliance under executive oversight.
- Work with Business Development/Strategic Alliances team to understand specific market opportunities to which the company requires an alliance to prepare and provide a solution to the market.
- Work with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to effectively develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the alliance and to key initiatives supporting the alliance.
Qualifications for success:
- Bachelor's degree or translative experience
- Strategic Alliance leadership experience with Microsoft in developing cybersecurity offerings with Microsoft through a large management consulting firm
- Developing roadmaps, working with Field, forecasting, and planning & strategy
- Successful experience in alliances partner management, sales, and/or business development
- A proactive, strategic individual with experience in sourcing or procurement
- 10+ years’ relevant experience in the IT or Cyber Security Industry
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
