DevSecOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevSecOps Engineer who is excited about securing the future of distributed machine learning. In this role you will play a key role in shaping the security of our product, operating our DevOps pipeline safely, and detecting threats across our stack. If you are like building stuff and then breaking it to make it better, then we can’t wait to meet you! You will be working on some of the most exciting AI technology and you will be surrounded by some of the most talented minds in the AI industry. We know not everyone will be A+ in all details below so if you meet most of the criteria we encourage you to reach out! This role will report to the Head of Security & Privacy.

What you will be doing:

• Developing threat models, conducting design reviews, and executing security testing to identify vulnerabilities across the stack and throughout the release cycle.
• Partnering with Engineering to build, operate, and monitor our development, CI/CD, and production tooling.
• Integrating and automating security throughout our DevOps pipeline.
• Monitoring threats and responding to potential security incidents.
• Using your cunning to automate boring risk and compliance reporting requirements.
• Serving as a subject matter expert for security across the organization (e.g., cryptography, design patterns, tooling, etc.).

Who you are:

• 5+ years of recent experience in a security focused engineering or DevOps role.
• Strong understanding of computer science and security fundamentals.
• Ability to write great code in any language! We’re a python and react shop, but we appreciate the expertise you can bring in any language.
• Experience integrating and automating security controls within a DevOps pipeline.
• Experience conducting security assessments and pen-tests.
• Experience with SaaS security models, CI/CD security, and cloud security architecture.
• Ability to clearly communicate security information to a variety of stakeholders.
• Great desire and willingness to learn.
